Set your domain's nameservers

Nameservers decide which service answers DNS for your domain. Use Orvoro's nameservers to manage DNS here, or point to another provider.

Steps

  1. Open Domains → [your domain] and find Nameserver mode / Set nameservers.
  2. Choose a mode:
    • Orvoro-managed — uses Orvoro's nameservers so you can edit records on the DNS page.
    • Custom — enter the nameservers your other DNS provider gave you.
  3. Save. Use re-check / delegation check to confirm the change has taken effect.
  4. Nameserver changes can take a few hours to propagate worldwide.

Troubleshooting

  • Records not editable in Orvoro? — you're on custom nameservers; manage DNS where those point, or switch to Orvoro-managed.
  • Delegation check fails? — wait for propagation and re-check; confirm you saved the exact nameserver hostnames.
