Back up and restore your website

Orvoro takes automatic daily backups, and you can also back up on demand.

Back up now

1. Go to Websites → [site] → Backups.
2. Click Back up now. The new restore point appears in the list when it finishes.

Restore a backup

1. On the Backups page, find the restore point you want.
2. Click Restore. Your site is rolled back to that point.
3. Tip: run a fresh backup first so you can undo the restore if needed.

Download a backup

Click Download on any restore point to keep an off-platform copy.

Good to know

• We keep several recent restore points per site.
• Restoring overwrites the current site with the chosen backup — anything newer is replaced.

Troubleshooting

• Restore didn't fix it? — try an earlier restore point, or use Staging to test changes safely first.
• Need a specific file, not a full restore? — use the File manager to replace individual files.
