Set up email DNS and deliverability

For email to work and stay out of spam, your domain needs the right DNS records: MX (routing), SPF and DKIM (authentication), and often DMARC.

Steps

1. Go to Email → [your domain] → DNS & delivery. Orvoro shows the exact records to add.
2. Add each record at your DNS provider:
   • If Orvoro manages your DNS, add them on the DNS page (see Manage DNS records).
   • If another provider manages DNS, add them there.
3. Back on the DNS & delivery screen, click Verify. Records turn green once detected.
4. Allow time for propagation (minutes, sometimes longer) before re-verifying.

Why each record matters

• MX — tells the world which server receives your mail.
• SPF / DKIM — prove your mail is really from your domain, which mailbox providers require to trust it.
• DMARC — tells receivers what to do with mail that fails checks.

Troubleshooting

• Verification stuck? — double-check you copied each value exactly (no trailing spaces) and that you edited the provider currently controlling DNS.
• Mail going to spam? — confirm SPF and DKIM are verified; give reputation time to build with normal sending.
