Set up forwarding and aliases
Forward a mailbox
- Go to Email → [domain] → mailboxes and open the mailbox.
- Add a forwarding address to send incoming mail elsewhere. You can keep a copy in the mailbox too.
Add an alias
Aliases (like sales@ or info@) deliver to an existing mailbox without needing a separate account.
- On the domain's email page, add an alias and point it at the destination mailbox.
- Mail to the alias now lands in that mailbox; the mailbox can also send as the alias.
Troubleshooting
- Forwarded mail bouncing — the destination provider may reject forwarded mail; keeping a local copy plus SPF/DKIM set up helps.
- Alias not receiving — confirm the alias points to an active mailbox and your email DNS is verified.
