Set up forwarding and aliases

Forward a mailbox

  1. Go to Email → [domain] → mailboxes and open the mailbox.
  2. Add a forwarding address to send incoming mail elsewhere. You can keep a copy in the mailbox too.

Add an alias

Aliases (like sales@ or info@) deliver to an existing mailbox without needing a separate account.

  1. On the domain's email page, add an alias and point it at the destination mailbox.
  2. Mail to the alias now lands in that mailbox; the mailbox can also send as the alias.

Troubleshooting

  • Forwarded mail bouncing — the destination provider may reject forwarded mail; keeping a local copy plus SPF/DKIM set up helps.
  • Alias not receiving — confirm the alias points to an active mailbox and your email DNS is verified.
