Install an SSL certificate
Every Orvoro site can serve traffic securely over https with a free SSL certificate.
Free SSL (Let's Encrypt)
- Go to Websites → [site] → SSL.
- Click to issue a Let's Encrypt certificate for your domain.
- Once issued, your site loads over https and the certificate renews automatically.
Upload your own certificate
If you have a certificate from another provider, choose Upload custom certificate and paste the certificate, private key, and any chain.
Requirements
- Your domain must point to your Orvoro site (nameservers or DNS records) so the certificate can be validated. See Connect an existing domain.
Troubleshooting
- Issuance failed? — confirm the domain resolves to your site and that DNS has propagated, then retry.
- Browser still shows "not secure"? — make sure links use
https://; clear the cache and reload.
