Migrate an existing website to Orvoro

Steps

1. In the create-website wizard, choose Migrate, or open Websites → [site] → Migration.
2. Pick a method:
   • Orvoro Migrator plugin — install our plugin on your old site; it copies files and database for you.
   • All-in-One WP Migration or Duplicator — export a package from your old site, then upload it here.
   • Upload a full backup — provide a complete site backup (files + database).
3. Start the migration and watch its progress. You can preview the migrated site before pointing your domain at it.
4. When you're happy, connect your domain to the new site (see Connect an existing domain).

Tips

• Migrate first, verify with the preview, then switch DNS — so visitors never hit a broken site.
• Large sites take longer; leave the migration running.

Troubleshooting

• Migration didn't finish? — check the migration log; retry, or use a full backup upload instead.
• Site looks off after migration? — clear the cache (Websites → [site] → Cache → Purge) and re-check the preview.
