Transfer account ownership

The Primary member owns the account, including billing and the ability to close it. Ownership can be handed to another member.

Steps

1. The person receiving ownership must already be a member of the account (invite them first — see Invite a team member).
2. Go to Settings → Team members.
3. Start the ownership transfer to the chosen member and confirm. For security this may require confirmation and can have a short waiting period before it finalizes.
4. Once complete, they become Primary and your role changes to Admin.

Troubleshooting

• Person not eligible — they must be an existing member; invite and have them accept first.
• Only the current Primary can start a transfer.
