Build contact lists and add subscribers

Steps

1. Go to Marketing → Email.
2. Under contact groups/lists, click Add group and name it (e.g. "Newsletter").
3. Add subscribers by entering them, or import a list. Consent is tracked per contact to help you stay CASL-compliant.
4. Use groups to target campaigns to the right audience.

Good to know

• Only email people who have consented. Every campaign includes an unsubscribe link and your sender info automatically.
• Signup forms can add new subscribers to a group automatically (see Build a form and embed it).

Troubleshooting

• Import rejected — check your file's format and that emails are valid.
• Low deliverability — send only to consented, engaged contacts; remove hard bounces.
