# Reset your WordPress admin password

## Steps

1. Go to **Websites → [site] → Access** (site access / credentials).
2. Use the option to **reset the WordPress admin password**. You'll set or receive a new password for the admin user.
3. Log in to `yourdomain.com/wp-admin` with the new password and update it to something memorable and strong.

## Alternative

You can also reset it from the WordPress login page ("Lost your password?") if your site can send email.

## Troubleshooting

- **Didn't get the WordPress reset email** — use the portal's Access reset instead; email delivery from the site may not be configured.
- **Still can't log in** — clear cookies/cache, confirm you're using the admin username, or restore a recent backup.
