# Create a mailbox

## Before you start

You need an **email plan** on a domain. If you don't have one, choose an email plan (or use the free email included with hosting) from the **Email** page.

## Create a single mailbox

1. Go to **Email → [your domain]**.
2. Click **Add mailbox** (or open **Mailboxes → New**).
3. Enter the **address** (e.g. `you@yourdomain.com`), then set a password — use **Generate** for a strong one.
4. Save. The mailbox is ready to use in webmail and any mail app.

## Create mailboxes in bulk

On the domain's mailbox page, choose the **bulk** option to add several addresses at once.

## Use your mailbox

- **Webmail** — click **Open Webmail** on the domain page.
- **Mail apps** — connect Outlook, Apple Mail, or Gmail with standard IMAP/SMTP settings.

## Troubleshooting

- **Can't send or receive?** — make sure your **email DNS** (MX, SPF, DKIM) is set up and verified (see *Set up email DNS*).
- **Hit your mailbox limit?** — upgrade your plan or add storage on the domain page.
